BT-3500TSV – BassDrill Beta – Keel laying at DSIC
Bassoe Technology is proud to announce that the keel laying for the “BassDrill Beta” took place at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co., Ltd, Friday November 25, 2011 in Dalian, China. The BT-3500TSV is the first Bassoe Technology designed semi-submersible under construction and the owner, BassDrill Ltd., has a charter-contract for the “BassDrill Beta” with Petrobras for tender drilling at the Papa Terra field development.
The fabrication of the “BassDrill Beta” at DSIC Offshore is progressing according to plan and all pontoon and column blocks has been structurally prefabricated and is currently under different degree of pre-erection, pre-outfitting and/or painting before being erected in DSIC Offshore’s 180 x 120 m dry-dock. Further, structural pre-fabrication of upper hull blocks has started in accordance with plan and the Unit is planned to be delivered first part of 2013.

- Stability Analysis
- Weight Control
- Machinery and Marine Systems
- Marine Outfitting
- Arrangement Drawings
- Project Managers
In general, we are also looking for design engineers within Drilling design, Piping design, Electrical and Control.
