Background

BASSOE TECHNOLOGY was established in September 2007 (initially as BassTech). BASSOE TECHNOLOGY consists of senior engineers with long experience and, in addition to design and engineering competence, also has extensive background from site supervision and project management. Located in Gothenburg Sweden, BASSOE TECHNOLOGY currently staff 45 engineers with long experience in offshore engineering and consultancy. Both the management team and the majority of the employees have extensive experience in designing mobile offshore units for production, drilling, service, and accommodation.

 Our knowledge base and experience reaches back to the proud history of the shipyard Götaverken Arendal AB in Gothenburg, Sweden, which from the late 1970s mostly focused on the offshore industry; designing, constructing and delivering 14 semi-submersibles from its shipyard based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Many of our senior engineers started their careers here, and have an extensive experience within the maritime and offshore industry to draw on. Main Objectives

• To become the preferred engineering company for marine and offshore unit design with focus on mobile and floating offshore units.
• To develop and deliver concept solutions and basic designs as well as detail designs, construction assistance, and commissioning.
• To serve the marine and offshore oil and gas industry with engineering consultancy services worldwide. 

BassTech AS (Oslo)

Founded in 2007 as a subsidary of the  Bassoe Group in order to serve external customers within the offshore and maritime industry, and to support the Bassoe Group with technical expertise and concept development. The company’s managing director is Truls H. Rosenberg and the BassTech AS office is based in Oslo, Norway.
