Engineering services also include modifications and upgrades of existing offshore units as well as design life extension of aging units. Tasks that can be undertaken are structural global analysis, buckling and yield checks, fatigue analysis, motion and station keeping (mooring & DP), stability analysis and systems & drilling design. Managing of weighing and inclination tests can be provided as well as site team and yard supervision.

Drilling
Drilling engineering and design work include layout design of drilling equipment and stores. Bassoe Technology also design drilling systems and provide P&ID (piping and instrumentation diagram).
Technical Due Diligence
Bassoe Technology provide services ranging from site surveys and surveys onboard units to technical due diligence assignments, proposing technical solutions to maintain operability in accordance with existing rules and regulations.
Inclination Tests
Bassoe Technology provide preparation, implementation and full documentation for inclining tests in accordance with class rules for offshore units and other marine vessels.
Transport of Offshore Units
Bassoe Technology have experience in design and engineering of dry transportation of offshore units. Additionally Bassoe Technology can provide evaluation of the structure to withstand dry transportation loads and proposing ways of supporting the structure of the unit to minimize hot spots due to concentrated load and high stresses.
Wet tow engineering, including structural support of towing brackets and determining scantlings of towing bridles and components, is also provided.
