Bassoe Technology strives to conduct business with commitment to our customers in order to develop, design and supervise construction of advanced floating offshore units, shipshaped vessels and provide engineering services. Background

Bassoe Technology was established in September 2007 (initially as BassTech)

Bassoe Technology consists of senior engineers with long experience who, in addition to design and engineering competence, also has extensive background from site supervision and project management. Located in Gothenburg Sweden, Bassoe Technology currently staff engineers with experience in naval architecture, offshore engineering and consultancy. Both the management team and the majority of the employees have extensive experience in designing advanced mobile offshore units for production, drilling, service, and accommodation. For various marine & offshore projects Bassoe Technology performs Conceptual Designs, Front End Engineering Designs (FEED) and Complete Basic Designs.

Since 2013, Bassoe Technology is incorporated to CIMC Raffles Group as one out of five Research & Development and Design centres located in Yantai, Shenzen, Shanghai, Sweden and Norway up to more than 1,000 design engineers in total.

All forming an interactive R&D and innovation pattern between China and Europe through deep integration with final fabrication and integration at three different construction yards in Chinese Shandong Province, located in Yantai, Haiyang and Longkou.

Together with our subsidiary company Brevik Engineering in Norway (www.brevik.com) and parent company CIMC Raffles i.e. Yantai CIMC Raffles Ocean Technology Group (www.cimc-raffles.com/en/), a subsidiary of the Hong Kong and Shenzhen listed shipping and logistic group, China International Marine Containers Group (CIMC), we are capable of hosting large EPC contracts.

Brevik Engineering

GM Brevik AS from Global Maritime AS was acquired by Bassoe Technology July 2015 and since then operate under the name of Brevik Engineering AS. Read more about Brevik Engineering AS here.
